At Kaleidoscope, we honor children’s natural curiosity and creativity. Our programming is child-led, meaning we follow the interests, questions, and ideas that come from the children themselves. We create space for deep, joyful exploration—whether children are fascinated by bugs, building with blocks, or inventing a new game.
We embrace a holistic approach—nurturing the spirit, heart, mind, and body—and honor children’s stories, languages, cultures, and connections to their families, communities, and the natural world. We walk alongside children as co-learners, using play, exploration, storytelling, art, and time in nature as meaningful pathways to growth.
Kaleidoscope is supported by a team of qualified primary staff, each of whom will meet or exceed the licensing requirements for education and certification ensuring they are well-prepared to provide a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for your child. All staff must also maintain valid First Aid certification, have completed a clear Criminal Record Check and actively participate in ongoing professional development.

programs
We’re excited to offer four unique programs designed to support children at every stage. Our programs include Infant Toddler, 3–5 Years, Preschool, and Out of School Care.
Kaleidoscope offers two licensed childcare programs, both operating Monday – Friday from 7:00am – 5:30pm.
Infant Toddler Program: Serves children from birth to 36 months, with space for up to 12 children and a staffing ratio of 1 educator for every four children.
3-5 Program: Serves children from 30 months to school age, with space for up to 25 children and a staffing ratio of 1 educator for every eight children.
The Preschool Program serves children from 30 months to school age and accommodates up to 25 children, maintaining a staffing ratio of one educator for every eight children. It runs September to June (observing the school break schedule).
There are two morning classes available:
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
9:00am – 11:30am
Tuesday and Thursday
9:00am – 11:30am
The Out of School Program serves children from kindergarten to age 12, accommodating up to 25 children with a staffing ratio of one educator for every eight children. The program runs September to June until 5:30pm, following the school break schedule.
It includes two components: an After School Program and a Seasonal Enrichment Program. The Seasonal Enrichment Program operates during spring and summer breaks, with priority given to families enrolled in the After School Program.
