Family and Children Services offers programs which promote and facilitate inclusive opportunities for children and youth.

Supported Child Development Program

Supported Child Development Program provides support, consultation and resources to ensure that children who have developmental disabilities or who require extra support are able to participate in community childcare programs of their families’ choice. Supported Child Development Program services are voluntary and free of charge. In partnership with families, childcare providers, and the community, the Supported Child Development Program support services are coordinated, appropriate and family centered. Sandcastle Preschool

Sandcastle Preschool is an inclusive preschool program offering several class time options for children from 32 months to four years of age. Sandcastle believes in the value of play and promotes the interaction and participation of all children through a rich variety of materials and activities. Each child is encouraged to learn at their own pace by exploration, imagination and discovery. Family and Child/Youth Support Services

Family and Child/Youth Support Services supports families and child/youth with special needs. Services provided are generally one-to-one or shared support, including support for behavioral challenges, life skill development and promotion of social skill development. Referrals through the Ministry for Children and Family Development, Child and Youth Special Needs
